Restoration

I currently have Two Cars (PA and PB) being restored in my newly extended workshop, with another arriving next month (TA). I am fitting the PB with a new ash body, but am repairing the ash body of the PA. These cars can be seen in the photos below.

Finally…the R-Type! More of a personal engineering challenge than a restoration, I am building the 6 cylinder version of the R-Type that designer Hubert Charles and managing Director of MGs Cecil Kimber would possibly have taken grand prix racing against the likes of Mercedes, Alpha Romeo, ERA and Bugatti had they been allowed to build it. However, Lord Nuffield’s decision to halt racing car production meant that comparisons with these cars were never made…Until Now!!!

If a total restoration is your commission I am happy to talk about it but will want to draw up an agreement on costs and target completion dates. It is the failing of many such restorations that they take so long to complete the customer feels detached from the project and it is important to me that this situation is avoided from day one!
